Andy Murray lifts The Valencia Open 500 Tennis championship.

Valencia Tennis Open Championship reborn as Valencia Open 500 and will be played on indoor hard courts.The newly devised event will take place each year in teh second to last week of the regular season.

April – 2009
The Valencia Tennis Open championship will take place in the Ciudad des Artes y Ciencies from 2nd to the 9th of November 2009.

The newly built ‘Agora’ will form the backdrop to the event, so it should be pretty spectacular in true Valencia style and something to compete for glamour with the F1 Street Circuit and the America’s Cup regattas coming to Valencia earlier in 2009.
